SUBSPACE COMMUNICATORS 

To talk about the ubiquitous SUBSPACE COMMUNICATORS' (COMM for short) success around the world its important to understand the underlying technological breakthroughs that this miraculous little device leverages.

SUBSPACE is a dimension parallel to our own first discovered by Ingram himself. Our concepts of time and space do not exist within it's boundaries. If an object were to be placed there it would exist at all physical points from the moment it was placed onwards and theoretically before that moment as well.

What prevents objects or people using this dimension as a gateway of sorts for physical transport or storage is the incredible energy costs associated with breaking through our own dimensional membrane and into SUBSPACE. The energy required to transport something the size of a household object has been estimated to be around the radioactive output of 109  G-type main sequence stars.

So how is SUBSPACE of any use? It is essentially used for what early 21st century civilisations called "Quantum Computing" and "Quantum Communication". Packets of photons representing non binary data are pushed through to SUBSPACE at the closest available IAS super massive relay and accessed at the desired site through any relay around the world. The data is identified and accessed with cryptographic meta tags that are added onto a caddy stream that accompanies the data into SUBSPACE and a copy is disseminated onto the public ledger..

What this means in terms of computing is the total annihilation of Bremermann's Limit. Time, energy and heat dissipation issues are all nullified. You simply submit a problem, it enters subspace and comes back out having been solved; all in a heartbeat. This technology also allows for instantaneous and secure communication that cannot be blocked, intercepted or altered.

The only series of devices on the commercial market are SUBSPACE COMMUNICATORS, originally created by INGRAM AEROSPACE. By offloading the majority of it's computing duties into subspace these devices feature slim ergonomic design, long life boron batteries and a 1024X1024X1024 Voxel holo-projector interface. The interface creates immersive three dimensional holograms using DeepViolet laser ionisation and lifelike MAGHAP magnetic haptic feedback for genuine touch controls you can feel.

Having cornered worldwide markets in a variety of industries, IAS and it's subsidiary companies anticipated the needs of newly wealthy city states to defend their interests. Rather than create a variety of mission specific vehicles, IAS saw fit to lead the charge in feature convergence.

The craft is used around the world for a variety of purposes ranging from air superiority, troop insertion/extraction, surveillance and bombardment. The key to it's "best in class" performance in all situations is the unheard of levels of modularity. Everything from wings, rotors, engines and weapon pods to tail fin configurations and landing gear are swappable with minimal tool usage. Each module attaches onto the airframe with passive magnetic locks that contain 64 pin contacts which pass through fly by wire and performance data.

The base model is flown by a four person crew with a cargo hold replete with weapons bays, a medical station and crash webbed seating for 22 personnel. It's flight ceiling is 19 kilometres whilst reaching top speeds of 1,930 kilometres per hour. Whilst it's cross section is considered large for traditional stealth applications, when flown in rotor only mode it produces very little sound. The addition of retro reflective panelling coupled with active camouflage under carriage projectors can render it virtually invisible to radar, infra red imaging and the naked eye.

Since it's debut, the RGC00PR has been unanimously voted by combat pilots as their preferred craft. It's widespread adoption has resulted in a more level playing field for skilled fighter pilots and increased air to air kills for crewmen.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

IAS AIR TRANSPORT

As INGRAM AEROSPACE came to dominate all commerce within city limits, it's renown expanded around the globe. Although business and humanitarian opportunities presented themselves rather readily, the infrastructure to exploit such opportunities was lost to the ages. Roads were sunken into disrepair and shipping lines diverted by naval minefields leaving air transportation the only viable course of action.

The IAS AIR TRANSPORT was designed and manufactured within the blink of an eye, ready to meet the demands of a brighter, more connected future. Featuring an impressive maximum payload capacity of 400 tonnes in relation to it's 50 metre wingspan, the IAS AIR TRANSPORT has a maximum range of 12,000 kilometres whilst reaching top speeds of Mach 2.1.

This is possible thanks to it's IAS CF-421 power-plant driving twin turbofan thrusters in conjunction with rigid aerostat canopies allowing for lift and buoyancy without compromising on speed or cargo capacity. The craft features no onboard weaponry as popular freight flightpaths are routinely patrolled by Ingram's own private security forces utilising the RGC00PR SAHIN fleet for escort and reconnaissance duties. 

Having the foresight that he does, Ingram personally designed a hot-swappable countermeasure package that is more than capable of defending the craft if it finds it's way into hostile territory. The package comes with the expected flare, chaff and electronic countermeasures for infrared targeting, radar and jamming employed by hostile craft. The "piece de resistance" however is the EMP generator. Good for a single use, the EMP generator's onboard computer reads all available telemetry and sensor information. When primed, it creates an electromagnetic pulse as soon as all identified hostiles are within it's range thus disabling their flight and weapon systems.

As the IAS AIR TRANSPORT maintains neutral buoyancy in the event of power loss, the vehicle remains safe whilst any aerial assailants fall from the sky. It only takes a number of minutes for the engines and flight systems to re-engage at which point the craft can carry on with it's mission undisturbed. The hot-swappable nature of the countermeasure package means that crew members can jettison the used module and replace it with a number of spares without landing or requiring service crews.

Other features include inbuilt loading arms, freight elevators, a loading ramp, magnetic sleds, forklifts and crew quarters for multiple shifts. This allows each craft to operate as a mobile shipping and logistics centre in it's own right whilst requiring minimal ground crews and maintenance. Coupled with the craft's VTOL capabilities and impressive payload capacity, a single craft can travel to the furthest reaches of the globe and create settlements or forward operating bases from scratch. 


MJOLNIR CLASS STUN BATONS

Personal safety should never have to come at the expense of taking another sentient being's life. At least that's the guiding philosophy behind Ingram's line of MJOLNIR CLASS STUN BATONS. Named after the fearsome weapon of the Norse God of thunder, make no mistake about the power these self defence devices hold.

Although each model differs in aesthetics, comfort and form factor; the core functionality remains the same across the entire range. At the heart of each stun baton is the array of electromagnetic emitters that deliver maximum neuromuscular disruption at an effective range of  0 to 1,000 centimetres.

If the target is within striking distance and the unit is out of power, the composite baton and titanium pommel still work as effective close quarter weapons ready to disable even the most intimidating attacker.

Non lethal doesn't have to mean painless either. If the target is within contact distance prolonged firing of the device can lead to 2nd degree burns, blindness, loss of hearing and permanent musculoskeletal damage. To increase accuracy at a distance and avoid accidental deaths, each MJOLNIR CLASS STUN BATON contains an onboard targeting computer with real time LIDAR target identification and automatic shutdown. If the trigger is depressed for an extended period of time on a single target, the STUN BATON will disengage and cannot be used on that target again until a factory reset is performed on the unit.
